The first thing that comes to mind when i hear the word history: I really wish there were more hours in the day to devote to learning about history! Ive been contemplating getting the dictionary definition of the word history tatted on my forearm!!

ReplyDeleteThe first word that comes to mind when I hear "History" is Exciting! I enjoy learning about the things that lead to the happenings of today's world. Currently, my favorite time periods are the 1940s-1960s and English Tudor history. I have a book that tells the history of time like a newspaper so it gives information of what is happening all over the world in a year or specific time frame. Really cool! Nicole Christiansen

ReplyDeleteThe first thing that comes to my head when I hear "History" is George Washington! I was never a very big History fan, but the more that I think about it, it kind of interest me. I'm looking forward to this class, and hope its a fun semester!
ReplyDeleteOne of the first things that comes into my mind, is a topic that gives me anxiety to learn about, but is always taught. So much anxiety that I can't even say the word.
ReplyDeleteBut on a brighter side, history also conjures up things in the past that are interesting. I'm not familiar with specific time periods, but I am pretty excited to find out which ones I like best.

ReplyDeleteWhen I think of history my mind goes to Tudor England. I love this peroid of history. I find it very interesting how much the world changed just because of one king that thought he could to anything.

Laura Hodson. I feel History is a way for us to learn from past mistakes. We usually don't learn from it as we should, but History should always be there pushing us to move forward. Away fromo the past.
ReplyDeleteWhen I here the word history I think about my High School history teacher Mr. Hobert. Also, my junior high teacher Mr.Growth who always demenstrated absolute power by telling us he was going to mount a gun on his desk.

ReplyDeleteWhen i hear the word history, it make me think of the life story of those people in pass. It is very interesting to learn about so many art, build that left behind for people to see.
When the word history comes to my mind I think of interesting things. History brings a lot of fun and exciting things to the table. We learn a lot from history and the different practices and things from past people. Without history life would be boring!

One of the first things that comes to my mind when I hear the word history is antiques. The word history reminds me of old and ancient things. That is not a bad thing though, I'm very interested in history and what it teaches us. History is interesting!

When I hear history I don't think of much except for going to a class and taking notes or doing a worksheet. It never was all the exciting in high school, except the parts about WW! and WWII were interesting.
